The State of Florida Association of Athletic - Activities Leagues, Inc. (SFAPAL) was founded for the following purposes: * To provide a means and method for the exchange of ideas, experiences, and information regarding youth problems, their causes and treatment and to create methods and procedures necessary to develop a constructive program with the goal of helping to solve youth problems. * To coordinate programs and activities which contribute to the development of character, integrity, physical and mental fitness and the attainment of positive personal objectives. * To foster a closer relationship between Law Enforcement Officers and the youth of the United States, to encourage close cooperation between youth and Law Enforcement officers which builds understanding, respect, and trust. *To reduce youth crime, violence, alcohol and drug abuse through positive interaction. |
