YDC Age Requirements

Youth Participants: All YDC youth participants must be 11-18 years old. We strongly suggest that you limit participation to (13) thirteen years and up due to the nature of some of the topics that will be discussed during the conference.

Adult Participants:

All adult participants must be 21 years of age and older (photo ID / Drivers License  will be asked for at registration at Coronado Springs).  No youth ages 19-20 years old will be allowed to attend this year’s and future conferences.

 

YDC Credit Card Payment Option

PALs now have the option of paying their entry fees with Visa or Mastercard. Contact Mr. L.B. Scott, Juliya Moody or  Rhonda Scott at the state office to find out how.

Whether you choose this option or to pay by check there will be no refunds. 

 

YDC Installment Payment Plan Option

PALs in good standing can choose to pay in 3 installments by check or Mastercard
or Visa.  Should you choose this payment plan there will be no refunds.

                        1/3 due on November 7, 2007

                        1/3 due on December 5, 2007

                        And the final payment on or before January 3, 2008

Police Officers/ Law Enforcement: Your Uniform                 

Adult supervisors/ Not Officers: Your PAL shirt and slacks or business casual

Youth: PAL shirt and pants/slacks / or skirts for young ladies

Thank you for your interest in the State of Florida Association of Police Athletic/Activities Leagues’ 10th Annual Youth Directors Conference (YDC) at Walt Disney WorldâResort. Enclosed you will find all the necessary paperwork to facilitate your registering for what is sure to be one of the best experiences of your life.

For the third year in a row, ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL GET TO CHOOSE THEIR CLASSES. Of course it will come on a first come first serves basis as registration paperwork is received. We even have a new installment payment option and the use of MasterCard or Visa for YDC Attendees!! After each day of instruction and interaction, followed by a great afternoon of parks and fun it will be an experience you won’t want to miss. Please join us and make this YDC your own. 

Please carefully review all of the enclosed materials and do not forget the deadline for registration: November 7, 2007. Four (4) days and three (3) nights at Walt Disney WorldâResort who could ask for anything more? Get the word out! Invite your family and friends and get ready to have some fun in the Florida Sun. All registration forms (including waivers) can be downloaded @ our website….www.SFAPAL.COM.

Color Pictures of youth and adults can be submitted via our e-mail address [SFAPAL@AOL.Com] please attach the file [make sure to properly label each picture with the youth name, age, and PAL representing]. Accepted photo images should be sent in Jpeg, bitmap, or tiff format. 

 

Checklist

This is a little reminder of what needs to be done to register for this event.

 

____ All Registration forms and entry fees must be received on or before 5:00pm EST November 7, 2007. The state office must receive all entries by the deadline. Not postmarked.

Make sure to mail the following by the deadline:                                    

·        2008 YDC Registration Form/Sheet

·         Release of Liability and Indemnity All participants (youth and adults must fill out and submit. (Signed and notarized -no copies-no faxes).  Get it on-line by accessing the Florida PAL privacy page, contact any staff member for the link.

·        Color Photos for each youth and adult. (If you do not have on-line access or you do not have a scanner- bitmap, jpeg, or tiff images preferred)

·        Birth Certificate for all youth 

·        Participant Application for ALL PARTICIPANTS (youth and adults)

·        Copy of Emergency Medical Consent form (for each youth)

·        YDC Rooming List

·        T-shirt Breakdown (one t-shirt breakdown per PAL)

·        Full payment of any entry fees owed Florida PAL on or before November 7, 2007. (Make checks payable to Florida PAL-YDC 2008 Entry)   There will be no refunds.

·       New this year- you can pay by credit card (Master Card or Visa).

Please note that the 10th Annual Youth Directors Conference is a State of Florida Association of  Police Athletic/Activities Leagues, Inc. event and that any questions and concerns should be directed to the State Office staff. Your State Office has worked hard to make this event a special one and we appreciate all matters concerning this event be addressed accordingly.
